Cheltenham Festival 2023 Recap

Gold Cup Day in 2023 proved to be a day of constant surprises and even heartbreak. We saw multiple runners facing long odds pull through to place spectacularly, especially with Faivoir taking the win at 33/1 odds in the County Handicap Hurdle. And while we witnessed disaster during the Turner Novice’s Chase as Mark Walsh was sent crashing to the turf, history was later made in the Gold Cup with Galopin Des Champs entering the Gold Cup hall of fame and earning Willie Mullins his third win in the race.
