The Rules:
New and experienced players in FPL will want to read this and take notes. While some features remain the same, some differences exist between the usual gameplay and the bet365s game.
The main differences are as follows:
- Completing a match – one point awarded for midfielders and forwards completing a match
- Goalkeepers that score – 8 points instead of 6
- Save points – instead of every three stops, 0.5 will be added each time.
- Shots on target – forwards get 0.3, midfielders 0.4, defenders 0.6, and goalkeepers 1.0 are also considered.
- Impact points: +0.3 awarded if a player’s time on the field sees the team win. If they see a loss, it would be -0.3
- Wildcards – the only chip. One to use by game week 19. Another from game week 20.
- Saving up free transfers – no limit
- Gameweek deadlines – amend your team up to kick-off each game week
- Price changes – begin in week three
- Conceding a penalty will see you lose two points and conceding a free kick
You will still have your 15-man squad with the same £100m budget to choose your team and the three-player limit from the same club. Also remaining the same, one free transfer per gameweek, your captain scores double points, and each transfer costs you four points.
