Cheltenham Day 3 Feature Race – The Ryanair Steeple Chase

Featuring last year’s winner, the Cheltenham Day 3 feature race has lots of exciting runners in contention to take the title away from Envoi Allen and Rachael Blackmore as they go for two wins in a row. Currently, with four horses favourite to cross the line first, the Day 3 feature race looks to be wide open with the possibility of a new winner. Ahoy Senor is looking to be the favourite, but we would not rule out Fugitif, Fil Dor and Banbridge to end the race strong, alongside Envoi Allen and last year’s third-place finisher, Hitman. Tune in on Thursday at 14:50 to see who comes out victorious.

Cheltenham Festival 2023 Recap

Day 3 in 2023 saw a day of results that no one expected, with all of the bookies and horse racing punters’ favourites not taking any race wins. Stage Star and jockey Paul Nicholls won the day’s first race, The Turners Novices’ Chase, closely followed by Good Time Johnny crossing the line first in the Pertemps Network Final. Envoi Allen, ridden superbly by Henry De Bromhead, took his third win of the festival in the Thursday feature race before Sire Du Berlais caused chaos by unexpectedly winning the Stayers’ Hurdle chase. Causing an upset, Jamie Snowden and You Wear It Well, to everyone’s surprise, took the line in the Mares Novices Hurdle before Angels Dawn ensured yet more fantastic racing and thrilling action right until the last second, winning the Kim Muir Handicap Chase by a neck.
