A cluster of UK Midlands businesses working with coach Anu Khanna have achieved significant recognition at the BizX Awards 2026, with two client companies collecting category wins and 11 more making the finals.
ACT, led by John Courtenay, was awarded Best Import-Export Company of the Year, while The Buddy Bag Foundation, under the leadership of Karen Williams, took home the Not-for-profit Business of the Year title. Anu Khanna has provided coaching to both businesses across several years, playing a central role in their development and success.
The achievements of the evening were not limited to those of client businesses. Principal Coach Anu Khanna and business coach Harneet Kaur also received recognition, reinforcing the direct relationship between structured coaching and the kind of results that attract award-level attention.
Anu Khanna received three individual awards: Best Client Results 2026, Executive Partner of the Year 2026, and the ActionHERO Award, each honouring her commitment to producing consistent growth and meaningful performance improvement across the businesses she coaches. Harneet Kaur was named Growth Partner of the Year 2026, adding further evidence to the case that disciplined, structured coaching leads directly to improved business performance.
The BizX Awards programme recognises excellence in business growth, leadership and operations, and brings together some of the most accomplished entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the UK. The volume of recognition achieved across Anu’s client base this year speaks less to a string of fortunate outcomes and more to the repeatable impact of coaching done well.
Coaching of this kind asks business owners to step back from reactive habits and learn to operate with genuine clarity of thought and direction. In doing so, their priorities become sharper and their ability to act on those priorities becomes more consistent. The shift from reacting to events to leading with intention is one of the most significant changes that sustained coaching makes possible.
With Anu Khanna as their coach, businesses gain a level of accountability that changes how decisions are made and how plans are followed through. The gap between intention and execution narrows, and what might previously have remained as an unimplemented plan becomes something that actually happens.
In practice, this has meant businesses achieving stronger discipline in their sales activity, teams that take on real ownership of outcomes, and internal systems that are clear enough to reduce the business’s dependence on the owner for every decision. Businesses become more capable of running themselves effectively, with consistency rather than chaos as the norm.
These are not isolated examples. They reflect the pattern that emerges time and again across the businesses Anu works with, where structured coaching applied consistently and with discipline produces results that are both measurable and lasting.
