The new SureStore Southport facility sets a benchmark in the self-storage sector, sprawling over 1.4 acres with a rentable space of 55,000sqft. With 500 units on offer, this 4th Generation site is equipped to meet diverse storage demands, from commercial stock needs to personal storage solutions for the residents of Southport.
The realisation of this avant-garde Southport self-storage complex was made possible through a partnership with investment partners Seneca, repurposing a site previously owned by Tesco into a contemporary, green storage solution that mirrors SureStore’s vision for the future.
The facility not only provides secure storage units varying from 10sqft to in excess of 250sqft but also features flexible trade counters, office space for local enterprises, and last-mile logistic units. Added amenities include a van hire service through a partnership with Hertz and ample parking, offering a comprehensive suite of logistics and transportation solutions.
Located at Scarisbrick New Road, the facility benefits customers in Southport’s town centre and the broader regions of Banks, Rufford, Ormskirk, and Formby.
Leading the way in the self-storage industry, SureStore enhances the customer journey with the introduction of the Nokē smart keyless access system, enabled through Bluetooth for effortless Smart Entry. The exclusive SureStore app allows customers to seamlessly manage their storage requirements, access, and user settings, providing superior control and flexibility.
Embracing environmental responsibility, SureStore launched its first zero-carbon storage facility in Wokingham in 2022. Maintaining this commitment to sustainability, the Southport location is equipped with solar panels to reduce its environmental footprint and utilise clean energy. The facility is also equipped for the future with the installation of EV superchargers, enabling rapid vehicle charging to 80% in just 30 minutes.
