Four new businesses have joined Bolton’s office and co-working space The Wellsprings, as the centre’s team expands to accommodate for growing demand.
Independent certification body Certo Legal and film and photography social enterprise Saz Media Club have recently moved in, alongside the Manufacturers Alliance, which supports progressive manufacturers into the industry, and Invisu, a technology company specialising in interactive 3D digital twin solutions for a variety of technical industries.
Additionally, Stella Oliviero has joined The Wellsprings team as the new customer experience agent, tasked with ensuring businesses working from and using the centre are able to maximise its business support and community benefits.
She has experience of working in fast-paced environments in customer service roles across hospitality and sales, and brings her people-focused approach to The Wellsprings to support the local businesses and entrepreneurs using the space.
Stella said: “My aim is to ensure everyone who uses the centre has a positive experience and to help showcase everything The Wellsprings has to offer. Having already met many of the businesses based here, it’s clear there is a real sense of community and collaboration, and I’m looking forward to helping that continue to thrive.”
Warran Bolton, CEO of Invisu (pictured), said: “The Wellsprings stood out for us because it offers far more than just office space. The quality of the facilities, the central Bolton location and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative business community made it an easy choice for us and we’re so pleased to now be based here.
“Having access to support from Ian as the innovation director, alongside opportunities to connect with other growing businesses, will be invaluable as we continue to develop. There is a real sense of energy and ambition throughout the building, and we believe it will play an important role in helping us attract talent, build relationships and support our long-term growth into the future.”
The Wellsprings, which is managed by Oxford Innovation Space, is based in the heart of Bolton town centre and boasts a wealth of high-quality features, including a welcoming business lounge, fully-kitted meeting rooms and a relaxing wellness space.
Working alongside Stella are centre manager Kirsty Humphries and innovation director Ian Balderson, who provides strategic growth and innovation support to businesses who use the space. Businesses and members also benefit from a calendar of networking events and workshops.
The Wellsprings renovation was backed by £6.9m from the Towns Fund with a further £1.4m from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It was part of wider ongoing regeneration work to make Bolton town centre the ideal place to live, work, study, visit and invest.
