Kukri Extends Partnership with Lancashire County Cricket Club

Lancashire CCC is delighted to announce the extension of its partnership with Kukri Sports, who have signed a new contract to remain the Club’s Official Kit Supplier until the end of the 2020 season.  The Lancashire-based sportswear supplier has partnered with the Red Rose County for more than eight years and the new contract will extend the relationship to more than 10 years.

The news follows the recent launch of all three kits for the current season, and Andy Ronnie, Group Executive Chairman at Kukri Sports, said: “We are extremely proud to continue our relationship with Lancashire County Cricket Club. It’s an exciting time with the on-going development at Emirates Old Trafford nearly complete and a young and ambitious Lancashire squad in place.

“Our ongoing plans with Lancashire CCC come at an exciting time for both the club and the brand and we look forward to being part of the enhanced fan experience at both Emirates Old Trafford and around the world. This contract extension coupled with our continuing commitment to our extensive stable of worldwide partners further supports our vision to become the number one global multisport brand.”

Both the Specsavers County Championship and the Royal London One Day Cup shirts have been on display in recent weeks at Emirates Old Trafford, with both campaigns starting over the last two months. Lancashire Lightning, led by captain Steven Croft, will play in the new NatWest T20 Blast kit in the side’s opening fixture against Durham Jets on Friday 7th July.

Lancashire CCC Chief Executive Daniel Gidney, added, “We are extremely pleased to extend our partnership with Kukri Sports as the Club’s Official Kit Supplier. We have worked closely with Kukri on a number of projects and activations at Emirates Old Trafford, across the North West and in Dubai, as part of the team’s pre-season tour, and we are looking forward to developing these in the coming years.”
