Hawkin’s Bazaar gets new home in St George’s Shopping Centre

National novelty gift retailer, Hawkin’s Bazaar has signed a deal to relocate its Preston city centre store.

The brand, which formerly occupied a unit in Fishergate Shopping Centre for three years, has signed a new lease with St George’s Shopping Centre.

Hawkin’s Bazaar is set to move to a newly renovated store located on the first floor opposite H&M.

The unit itself has benefited from a complete refit, offering shoppers ample space to browse and play with the gifts, toys and fun gadgets that are for sale for both kids and adults.

Andrew Stringer, general manager of St George’s Shopping Centre, said: “The move is fantastic news for Preston shoppers as well as St George’s, as we attract another quality national retailer to our tenant line-up.”

The brand’s current (NUMBER) staff have moved to St George’s Shopping Centre from the former unit, while Sophie Royles has been brought on board as the new store manager.

Sophie Royles added: “The unit in St George’s has a much larger footprint than our former Preston home, so as our customer base and product range grows, it makes commercial sense to bring the Hawkin’s Bazaar brand to the centre. We’re thrilled to have secured this prime retail space.”

The new store is set to opened its doors to Preston shoppers on Sunday, August 13th.
