Leading Lancashire-based accountancy firm shortlisted for top industry award

One of Lancashire’s leading accountancy firms has been shortlisted for a top award in the accounting and finance sector.

Rotherham Taylor Limited, which serves clients across the UK and internationally from its offices in Preston, is a finalist in the region’s Independent Firm category at the prestigious British Accountancy Awards. The awards recognise the very best accountancy firms nationally.

The rigorous judging process required Rotherham Taylor Limited to make a detailed submission setting out the firm’s standards across areas including client service and its contribution to the life of the region.

The firm’s submission included details of its innovative cloud accounting service, RT Clarity, which gives clients real-time access to their business information for a fixed monthly fee. It also set out the fundraising carried out by staff for Rotherham Taylor’s Charity of the Year, homelessness charity, The Foxton Centre.

Michael Barton, Chairman and CEO at Rotherham Taylor Limited, said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the British Accountancy Awards. This is wonderful recognition of the efforts of the whole team.

“We work continuously to ensure that our clients benefit from a range of industry leading services, provided with a level of personal service that is not available from larger firms.

“Our whole team is now looking forward to hearing whether we have won.”

The winners of the British Accountancy Awards will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Friday 13 October 2017.
