Haleys Expansion and Growth

Haleys Business Advisers have made two significant appointments as part of their continued impressive growth and business expansion as well as extending the office space and facilities on their business campus in Whitestake, Preston.

John Fisher has been appointed Sales and Marketing Director, responsible for the promotion of Haleys wide range of business advisory services and their R&D Tax Experts team. John has 34 years’ experience in estate agency in the North and has held senior management positions in the four companies spanning his career: Johnson Kelly (Preston); Nationwide (North East); Bairstow Eves (North West) and Entwistle Green (Lancashire).His experience in sales management, branding and product promotion as well as sales and customer service will be fundamental to Haleys expansion plans. John comments, ’I am delighted to be joining Haleys at a time when the accountancy profession is going through many changes and the foresight of Tim Haley and his team towards real time trusted business advisers is refreshing and I look forward to meeting their clients’.

The second appointment is Martin Walker-Smith who joins the management team with corporate finance skills and knowledge  and will also focus on the customer service experience delivered at Haleys.  Martin has a wealth of experience in the SME business sector having worked for a leading high street bank for 40 years throughout Lancashire.  He is particularly well known to the business community in Preston through helping in the growth of local businesses.  Martin remarked on his appointment, ’these are exciting times for Haleys,not only in terms of growing their customer base, but also recruiting talented professionals  from different business sectors who will give added value to both existing and new clients going forward’.

Haleys continue to expand their R&D tax rebate division and are recruiting a team of specialist business analysts to enhance this service.

Haleys provide financial, taxation and commercial expertise to established business owners in order to help them increase profitability, maximise capital values, protect their assets and enjoy life to the full.  They are also the main sponsors of Preston Grasshoppers RFC.
