Coolkit Crowned King of Cool

A market-leading manufacturing business is celebrating after being crowned king of cool at two major business awards.

CoolKit were announced as winner of the ‘refrigerated panel van of the year’ category at the Temperature Controlled Storage & Distribution (TCS&D) Awards. They were also announced as the ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ and the highly coveted ‘Business of the Year’ at the BIBAs.

The TCS&D Awards, which recognise companies and individuals who have made a difference in the temperature controlled storage and distribution industry, took place at the RICOH Arena in Coventry on 13 September.

Just two days later, the rapidly growing company scooped the two major wins at the BIBAS, which was held at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.

CoolKit Managing Director Rupert Gatty, attended the events and dedicated the awards to CoolKit’s customers and the company’s dedicated workforce.

He said: “It is a privilege to have won these awards, it signifies real recognition within the refrigerated transport industry for our product and most of all for our staff.

“It is extremely important to listen to our customers as they are the ones using the fridge vans every day and relying on them to run their businesses. We believe it is important to concentrate on the little details that make a big difference in performance levels and durability, and this makes us stand out from the competition.”

This year has seen a real focus on quality and innovation for the growing company who are continually looking at ways to improve their conversions and introduce innovative ways of manufacturing with improved specifications.

Judges for the Business of the year category praised CoolKit for its approach.

They said: “We were hugely impressed by the way in which this innovative manufacturer has achieved outstanding growth and created an inspirational working environment with a truly great team spirit.”

Rupert added: “We spend time looking into the quality of our service and taking the customers through the manufacturing process. Even if you have a perfect product, without the right people behind it to provide excellent customer service you can’t achieve greatness and 100% customer satisfaction.

“We have built a business with enthusiastic and dedicated individuals passionate about our product offering and creating perfect solutions for our growing customer base, it is great to take the trophy back to the office.”
