The road ahead is clear for Exact Abacus

Buckshaw Village based Exact Abacus has secured a contract to provide their ERP software, inbound logistics, fulfilment and delivery solutions to car parts specialist Steeda UK.

Steeda UK has been fine tuning and racing Ford vehicles for nearly 30 years and is one of the leaders in Ford performance parts.

Car enthusiast, Robbie Kazandjian, secured the rights to exclusively distribute Steeda UK products in Europe in 2012. The industry leading brand decided to expand beyond the US market with both direct sales for their own eCommerce website and specialist dealerships.

Robbie said: “We needed a fulfilment company who could integrate with our eCommerce website and provide a true business to business solution as this accounts for over half of our sales. Due to the nature and size of the products we required a flexible and experienced partner.

“Exact Abacus’ software is way ahead of anything else we looked at and the pricing is very competitive. It’s not just fulfilment, we are looking to improve our overall work flows with EA.”

Exact Abacus opened its second warehouse in Chorley last March, which increased dispatch capacity to over 10,000 parcels per day. This investment gave the company greater capacity to provide solutions for even more growing businesses.

Lee Thompson, Sales and Marketing Director at Exact Abacus commented: “We’re delighted to have Steeda UK as a partner and I’m sure we’ll attract more forward thinking brands as we continue to grow. Our package is a truly unique offering and as we carry on innovating, we will only increase its potential to provide even deeper business intelligence.”
