Blackpool company provides key note speaker at industry seminar

To celebrate the BPMA Promotional Products Week (2-6 October 2017), Lancashire based has organised a thought provoking seminar and networking opportunity on 12 October at Leyland Golf Club. The theme is why merchandising should be part of your marketing mix.

At the seminar, one of the key note speakers is Christine Girven, Marketing Manager at SPS in Blackpool. SPS is a leading manufacturer and supplier of promotional merchandise to the UK and across Europe. The award-winning company has been manufacturing in Blackpool for 25 years and has now expanded to additional sites in Banbury, Oxfordshire and Swadlincote, Derbyshire. In total, SPS employs over 300 skilled professionals across its sites and has dedicated teams in Germany, Holland, France and Poland.

Christine Girven has been the marketing manager at SPS for seven years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to the world of promotional merchandise.

Commenting on her role at the seminar, Christine said: “At SPS, we specialise in plastics manufacturing and the company is at the forefront of innovation in promotional merchandise.

“At the seminar, I will present on the huge benefits of buying British when it comes to promotional products, whilst showcasing some examples of our award winning British products. Christine will also give pointers on how to get the best out of your promotional gift supplier and offer some great ideas on creating something custom-made for your next marketing campaign.

Other speakers at the seminar include Steve Ward, MD, Business Gift UK, outlining how the Distributor adds value and Gordon Glenister, Chairman, BPMA on recent developments for the industry.
