Exact Abacus teams up with local company to renovate their office space

Lancashire-based ERP software, eCommerce and fulfilment specialist, Exact Abacus has partnered with Bolton based interior designers, Brown and Bancroft to completely renovate their office as a part of their strategy to attract top industry talent.

Brown and Bancroft undertook the eight week project with the brief to transform Exact Abacus’ rectangular 6,255 sq ft space to house their team of 55 employees and more than enough space support their future growth.

The innovative eCommerce solutions company wanted to create a unique space to bring natural light into the office whilst implementing stylish curved walls to corner off a breakout space for informal meetings.

Exact Abacus wanted to create a space where innovation and creativity could flourish as they continue to create new solutions for their clients.

Lee Gregson, Managing Director at Exact Abacus, said: “We’re really pleased with the result as this enables us to continue our growth journey and become a more efficient business. What we wanted from this refurbishment was to create space where our team can come together and brainstorm ideas. We aim to attract top talent within our industry and this refurbishment will help us create an open and engaging culture.”

The refurb was completed over the eight weeks in two stages, with a studded wall separating the ongoing work from the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce specialists.

Jill Bancroft, sales and marketing director at Brown and Bancroft, added: “The transformation of the office space at Exact Abacus was a testament to the open, honest discussions that we had at the early briefing stage. This transparent working relationship enabled us to develop a creative concept and design to reflect the requirements of this growing business.”
