Key promotion announced for growing local accountancy firm

A thriving local accountancy and advisory firm has announced a key promotion to its senior executive team.

CLB Coopers, which has an office in Lancaster city centre, has promoted Rob Richardson to the position of Senior Director.

This is the first senior executive promotion since the firm was acquired last year by the Baldwins group, one of the UK’s fastest growing accountancy firms, which is part of the CogitalGroup.

Rob, who joined CLB Coopers three years ago as a Director in its Corporate Finance team, will be an integral part of the firm’s senior executive team, implementing its growth plans across the wider North West region.

His new role is primarily a lead adviser in transactions, alongside advising entrepreneurial business owners in the development and implementation of strategies for increasing shareholder value.

Rob will also continue to work with his extensive network of contacts across the North West to enhance the firm’s recurring compliance portfolio.

Speaking of his promotion, Rob commented: “I am excited about the opportunity to join CLB Coopers’ leadership team and to continue our track record of helping both our clients and staff fulfil their ambitions and goals.”

David Travis, Managing Director, said: “The last 12 months have seen our corporate finance team deliver some exceptional results for our clients and close intermediary contacts, and the addition of a further Senior Director means we are excellently placed to continue to deliver brilliant results.”
