The inside Scoop… Welcome to Bonds Preston!

A brand new Bonds Ice Cream Parlour and Coffee Shop has launched in The Preston Guild Hall complex.

Launched on the same day as this year’s Panto Aladdin, with the cast of the show, former Bonds of Elswick owner Martin Molloy, and new owner of the Bonds brand and Preston Guild Hall Simon Rigby. Rigby said: “it has been an exciting day here with Bonds opening its first site outside of Elswick, alongside the launch of our very own Panto, Aladdin!  It has been a very busy period preparing for all of this, but worth it in order to offer the people of Lancashire an even greater dining and leisure offering here in the heart of the county, Preston.”

It was just a week ago that Simon Rigby took over the Bonds brand, synonymous with the village of Elswick. Rigby’s plan is to not only keep the brand alive at the original Elswick site, where the delicious home-made dairy ice cream is produced, but to take it to new locations and generations of customers to keep the Bonds story going.

Located in the lower arcade, the new Ice Cream Parlour and Coffee Shop joins a range of dining and leisure facilities further enhancing the City centre site and providing visitors of all ages with a wide range of exciting options.

The Elswick Ice Cream Parlour and Coffee Shop is now also back up and running since its take-over on 1st December. Former owner Martin Molloy said: “it has been great to read all of the positive comments and see the enthusiasm regarding the re-launch in Elswick as well as see the brand grow after all these years and open in Preston”.

Whether you are looking for somewhere for a family treat, a place to catch up with friends, a birthday party venue or just to pick up some lunch, Bonds Elswick and Preston can cater for you. Visitors can enjoy a whole host of original Bonds ice cream flavours, sundaes, freshly prepared coffee and snacks.
