A series of Lancashire IT forums have been launched to advise business owners about which new technologies can add value to the business and how having the right systems in place can accelerate business growth.
The first Lancashire IT Forum will be held at Stanley House Hotel in Mellor, starting on 23rd January 2018. Lunch and networking will be followed by an industry update, a key note speech from Nadeem Memon from Panaz in Burnley, and a free advice clinic with technical experts.
The purpose of the Lancashire IT Forums is to help businesses make the right IT choices to achieve their commercial objectives. From understanding how to best align IT strategy with business objectives, through to sharing knowledge about best practice on how IT can contribute successfully to the growth ambitions of a business.
Community & Business Partners (CBP) has set up the forum with support from the Affilius Group who offer business, IT strategy and software solutions to businesses.
CBP, a non-profit making organisation which was established to support businesses, community groups and voluntary bodies, has been running successful HR and business forums for over 25 years.
These forums have proved very successful in helping business owners and managers keep up-to-date with hot topics, resolve business issues and capitalise on new opportunities.

“We feel now is the right time to add IT forums to our support package to local businesses to ensure Lancashire stays one step ahead. Business people attending the forums will hear real life stories from fellow Lancashire business owners, who, as a result of becoming more technologically advanced, have gone on to enjoy business growth.
“As an organisation, it is the CBP’s aim to help businesses to flourish and we hope that by adding IT forums to our mix of events, we will be able to support them in making some very important decisions about how they invest in new technologies.”
