Chorley based Scorpion Automotive sponsors Team WD-40 in the British Superbike Championship

Scorpion Automotive and its specialist motorcycle brand DATATOOL have announced they will be sponsoring  GR Motosport Ltd in the British Superbike Championship.  Datatool logos will be seen on GR’s Team WD40 Superbike, ridden by Mason Law  and The STAUFF Quick Connect Academy’s Superstock 1000 of Alastair Seeley and DR-Moto Moto3 of Liam Delves throughout the 2018 British Superbike Championships Series.

In GR MotoSport’s 23 year history, the team has already scooped 15 British Championships and championship titles in the European, Irish and South African series.

After a successful first season in the litre class, former Pirelli National Superstock 600 Champion, Mason Law remains with GR MotoSport moving from their Superstock class onto their Team WD-40 Superbike. Coupled with successful pre-season testing of their new Kawasaki ZX-10RR, the team are confident of being strong contenders at this year’s 12 BSB road race meetings.

Carl James, Scorpion’s Head of Marketing & Sales Operations comments: “Our sponsorship of GR Motorsport is a great opportunity for Scorpion to increase brand awareness of its motorcycle security industry leading brand, Datatool whilst demonstrating our passion and commitment to the motorcycling community.  Datatool are the trusted motorcycle security provider for a huge following of motorcycling and motorsport enthusiasts, so we believe our partnership with Team WD40 will resonate well with our customer base.”

Managing Director of GR Motosport, Brent Gladwin added, “We’re proud to be associated with Scorpion and the Datatool brand. It’s great to have a sponsor on board that shares our passion of motorcycling and motorsport with such fantastic products. It will be a pleasure to use and promote.”
