Financial Adviser to compete in charity boxing event

Independent Financial Adviser, Andrew Sutherland, of True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners in Euxton, Chorley has been training to compete in a White Collar Charity Boxing Event to help raise funds for Derian House Children’s Hospice.

The competition is to take place at Preston’s Guildhall on Saturday, 12th May and is open to both men and woman with no past boxing experience.  All entrants receive eight weeks training before the event and will be matched against a similar weight and ability on the night.  Andrew has been training hard at his local Coppull gym and is ready to compete against his opponents on the night.

Elaine Middleton, Corporate & Sponsorship Fundraiser from Derian House, said: “I’d like to wish Andrew the very best of luck in his challenge and every success at the Guildhall. His support will make a big difference in helping us to raise the vital funds we need to make sure we provide a lifeline for all the children, families and young adults who rely on us.”

George Critchley, Chairman of True Bearing, commented “The directors and some of the staff at True Bearing will be supporting Andrew ringside on the night, while others will be helping Andrew to raise the £500 target for Derian House.  We are very proud to support Andrew in his fundraising event, and good luck to him on the night”.
