Pakawaste selected as preferred equipment supplier to Gaskells Waste Services

Liverpool based waste management company, Gaskells Waste Services Ltd., has selected the UK’s number one waste handling systems provider, Pakawaste Ltd. as its preferred equipment supplier.

Based in Preston, Pakawaste is one of only a few manufacturers in the UK that facilitates the production of compactors and balers and their innovative approach incorporates the design, manufacture and installation of waste disposal equipment.

The partnership has got off to a great start, with Pakawaste already supplying Gaskells with bespoke compactors to be used at a major UK airport and is in process of designing and manufacturing further bespoke waste management equipment.

To celebrate the partnership, members of the Gaskells team were invited to an open day at Pakawaste’s purpose-built facility in Preston, where Denise Banks, Commercial Director, Gaskells, observed: “It’s incredibly important that all our Contract Managers get to know the team at Pakawaste on a personal level, which will build on our already strong partnership, as there’s nothing better than that personal contact. Spending the day here, and especially having a tour of the factory and presentation, has equipped our team with more knowledge and confidence to move forward and diversify, as Gaskells expansion continues. Pakawaste is the best in the business, and we’re delighted to be working in partnership with them.”

David Hamer, CEO, Pakawaste, added: “Everyone at Pakawaste is incredibly proud to be the preferred waste equipment supplier for Gaskells Waste Services. It’s a strong company, with a great ethos, based here in the North West.

“We like working with all our partners and customers to remove some of the mystery surrounding compactors, balers and our other equipment, so they feel equipped with the knowledge and the reassurance that we’re working together as a team.

“The open day with the staff from Gaskells was invaluable. We’re now even more confident our partnership will be mutually beneficial, and we’re looking forward to exciting times ahead”
