Glasson Electronics puts the lights on for Annie in Brazil

Glasson Electronics, the Glasson Dock based lighting specialist, is celebrating exporting one of its innovative and exciting products to Brazil. It recently shipped 325 units of its industry leading DFS4000 product to one of South America’s largest cities, Sao Paulo.

The lights are currently being used in the month-long theatre production of the hit musical Annie, at the Teatro Santander Theatre, where they offer a seamless full colour spectrum range, which the audience enjoys tremendously.

Glasson Electronics was the first lighting company to develop combined power and data lamp units. Their technology allows control of large numbers of lamps and LED units, using standard light fittings and cable, for the creation of sophisticated lighting effects, with simple control and installation.

Simon Bibby, Managing Director, Glasson Electronics, said: “Glasson Electronics exports its products around the world, though this is our first venture into South America.

“Following an initial consultation with the client, it was clear that our DFS4000 product was the best solution for them, since it was originally designed for theatre and stage show productions. It offers the user the ability to quickly and easily pre-programme the individual lights, to both save time and add the wow factor.”
