Lloyd BMW offers new X5

Lloyd is pleased to present the new X5 luxury SUV across its Colne, Blackpool and South Lakes BMW Centres.

The latest incarnation of the X5 features the sharp handling characteristics of its predecessors and an updated, contemporary exterior and interior.

Offered with a variety of engines from the xDrive30d, a 3-litre diesel, to the range-topping M50d, a 3.0-litre quad-turbo straight-six, producing around 400bhp and a mighty 560lb ft of torque, making the new X5 a seriously fast SUV, hitting 62mph in 5.2 seconds.

Technology is prominent in the X5, with BMW’s intelligent four-wheel drive system, xDrive, as standard, whilst electronically controlled dampers and air suspension keep the ride smooth and stable.

A 12.3 inch control display for the innovative iDrive is prominent in the cabin, as is BMW’s latest head-up display, now featuring 3D graphics. A third row of seats is optional, as well as massaging seats, four-zone automatic climate control, cooled and heated armrests, panorama glass roof and ambient lighting.

Stephanie de Looe, BMW Marketing Manager, said: “The new X5 is at the pinnacle of luxury SUVs, offering the best of both worlds; a comfortable, fast cruiser and a capable off-road vehicle. Economical and exciting, I’m sure this latest X5 will be as popular as the previous generations, which sold over 2 million variants worldwide.

“We are now taking enquiries regarding the latest X5 model across our Colne, Blackpool and South Lakes dealerships, where BMW professionals are on hand to demonstrate the X5’s abilities as well as Lloyd’s latest BMW offers across the stunning model range.”
