Gary to lead law firm’s IT strategy

Gary Alman has joined regional law firm Napthens as director of IT.

Gary joins from multi-national law firm Ashurst LLP in London, and has vast experience of the legal and professional services sector including time spent with Norton Rose Fulbright, Withers Worldwide and KPMG.

He brings to the role particular expertise in business and technology transformation, implementation of agile working and innovation across global organisations.

At Napthens he will be responsible for developing the technology and communication systems across the business, to support the firm’s growth strategy.

Simon Ainsworth, partner and Napthens’ chief operating officer, said: “Ongoing investment in technology is crucial for Napthens as we continue to deliver innovative solutions right across our business. Napthens is focused on innovation as one of our core values, so both behind the scenes and in our work with clients, Gary’s experience and expertise will help us to deliver our business objectives.”

Gary added: “I enjoy working within the legal sector and I’m excited about bringing my experience within the industry to a forward thinking firm like Napthens.  I will have a great team around me and I’m keen to play a key role in supporting Napthens’ growth plans in the years to come.”
