Property specialist joins law firm’s Clitheroe office

North West law firm Harrison Drury has expanded its property team with the appointment of solicitor Roberto Bonaminio.

Roberto, who previously worked at Steele & Son with Bagot Heyes, is based at Harrison Drury’s Clitheroe office.

He will specialise in commercial property and also support the residential property team to deliver conveyancing services for property sales and purchases, new builds and help to buy schemes, as well as dealing with funding, security and transfers of equity.

Simon England, head of Harrison Drury’s commercial property team, said: “We are keen to build the next generation of solicitors based at our Clitheroe office and welcome talented young people like Roberto. He brings to the firm a wealth of local knowledge and local connections.

“The Ribble Valley and East Lancashire are major growth areas for the firm. This includes providing legal advice on agriculture property and the management of landed estates and new commercial and residential developments.

“The retail and high street sector also continues to bring regular work for the commercial property team. Appointing a local specialist like Roberto is critical to help manage this increasing demand for our services.”

Roberto said: “Harrison Drury is heavily involved in the local community which I really like. The Clitheroe team is great to work with and I look forward to helping the firm develop its commercial property services across the region.”

His appointment brings the property team based at Harrison Drury’s Clitheroe office to nine, which includes six property solicitors, two trainees and a legal advisor.

The team manages a diverse client portfolio with current work including acting as legal advisor to James Alpe Developments on its 6.8 acre commercial development in the Ribble Valley, and on the Worsthorne Estate’s lease of Worsthorne Recreation Ground to Burnley Borough Council.
