Key Group Strengthens Finance Department with Newly Created Directorship Position

Key Group, the leading specialist provider of financial solutions to the over-55’s, has promoted Caroline Righton (formerly Head of Commercial Finance for more2life) to Director of Commercial Finance at Key Group – comprising of Key, more2life, Key Partnerships and Air Group.

Caroline joined Key Group a decade ago as a management accountant at Key. She quickly progressed to Finance Business Partner at Key and then moved within the Group to more2life as Head of Commercial Finance, where she oversaw the commercial finance of the business during a period of rapid growth for the lender, who also brought on three new funders during this time.

In this newly created role Caroline will oversee transitional finance for Key Group as well as transitional finance for more2life, in additional to providing commercial finance support for more2life, Key Partnerships and Air Group.

Rob Scott, Chief Finance Officer at Key Group said: “Caroline has been an integral part of Key Group’s Finance department for many years. Most recently as Head of Commercial Finance at more2life where she has held a firm grasp on the finances for the business during a period of growth and development. Caroline has continued to exceed in her role, managed all the commercial challenges which Covid-19 has brought to the business – whilst working from home since March.”

Not only is Caroline taking on this newly created role but she will also be providing maternity support cover for Key’s commercial finance team – which will include supporting Key Equity Release, The Equity Release Exerts and Key Estate Planning commercial teams. I am fully confident that Caroline will take all of this in her stride and continue to manage the finances of these businesses affectively moving forward.”
