Robotic integration specialist CNC Robotics joins the Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC)

Established to support the growth of the high-tech cluster and attract investment to the region, STC is a not-for-profit organisation, working for the high-tech engineering companies within the area. The UK government have recently highlighted the ‘Oxford-Cambridge Arc’, which encapsulates the STC region, as an area of significant economic growth and potential. Despite the challenges faced by business over the past year, its growth will strengthen the UK’s position as a world-leading knowledge economy.

Pim van Baarsen, CEO of Silverstone Technology Cluster, said, “We are thrilled to have CNC Robotics on board, as they are a key player within the sector. They are a welcome addition to our active network of leading technology businesses and show real leadership within their field of expertise.”

STC was launched in January 2017 to encourage innovation and develop future technology. STC supports Advanced Engineering, Electronics and Software businesses like CNC Robotics. Businesses joining the growing network of companies gain access to various benefits as well as business growth programmes such as SME Advisory Boards and Mentoring for Growth. STC has several active Special Interest Groups (SIGs) in areas like Future Mobility and Wearable Technology, and is looking at setting up a Robotics Special Interest Group as well.

Philippa Glover, MD CNC Robotics, said: “As a company working across the UK with a hive of activity within the region, becoming members of STC will enable us to continue to raise awareness, encourage collaboration, and sharing of best practice.”
