Lancashire Mind call for some #LovefromLancashire businesses

Mental health charity, Lancashire Mind are offering opportunities to Lancashire businesses to sponsor months in their hugely popular ‘Love from Lancashire’ calendar.

Lancashire Mind’s photography competition, Love from Lancashire, now in its third year, encourages people to send in their pictures from across Lancashire and winning entries are included in a calendar for sale at the end of the year.

Fundraising Lead, Emma Bateson said: “The Love from Lancashire calendar has become hugely popular and now raises around £2000 for us each year. The money we raise from the sponsorships pays for the printing and distribution of the calendars, effectively making it cost neutral for us which means ALL the money raised from the sale of the calendars goes directly to funding our services. For just £120, a company can sponsor a month in the calendar.”

Lancashire Mind provides vital support to the people of Lancashire, with a wide variety of training in and for workplaces as well as wellbeing coaching to schools, individuals and community development work.

Tony Garner Director at Viva PR and main sponsors for this year’s calendar said:” As a business we have received invaluable training and support from Lancashire Mind over the years and we were happy to give something back and sponsor this year’s calendar.

“Viva’s own vales and ethos are very much aligned with Lancashire Minds values and a sponsorship like this is a powerful tool to be able to demonstrate that we take good mental health for all seriously as company.

“Plus, it also means our logo and information are sat on someone’s desk or on someone’s wall all year which has got to be good thing.”

Emma added: “Lancashire Mind have been lucky enough to work with many fantastic businesses so far and corporate sponsors make such a huge difference to how many lives we can support within Lancashire.

“At least 1 in 4 people in Lancashire will be finding it hard to look after their mental health right now. This includes your employees, your suppliers and your customers so partnering with us will be relatable and valued by many.

“We make it appealing for the businesses that partner with us – not only by the reputational benefit gained from supporting your local mental health charity, but we also offer various packages from press release feature, links from our website, social media exposure to our thousands of followers, co-branded products and more.

“Supporting people’s mental health has never been more important than it is right now. There’s no better time for businesses to show commitment to improving mental health for everyone.”
