Dartfish and Skylab EPA Collaborate to Launch Advanced Padel Analytics Solution

Dartfish, a renowned provider of video analysis solutions for sports, has announced a partnership with Skylab EPA, a specialist sports technology and performance analysis firm, to introduce a powerful new product for Padel players and coaches. The innovative solution allows users to interact with comprehensive match data in a user-friendly manner and instantly access automated video playlists.

This cutting-edge product combines easily comprehensible data dashboards with video integration and will be made available to customers starting from May. The collaboration between Dartfish and Skylab EPA brings together the expertise of both companies to create a unique offering that caters to the needs of Padel practitioners, as Padel continues to grow rapidly as one of the world’s most popular sports.

Skylab EPA, the performance analysis division of Skylab, operates at the intersection of digital technology, scientific insights, and coaching. Their products and services provide invaluable insights and help users make sense of the vast amount of data in sports, offering clarity and a deeper understanding of the game.

In partnership with Dartfish, Skylab EPA has made significant investments in infrastructure and allocated resources to explore how their expertise can be applied to Padel. They recognise a tremendous opportunity to support practitioners in pushing the boundaries of performance by delivering efficient performance analysis practices and providing greater visibility into elite Padel.

The feedback received from participating nations has confirmed that Skylab EPA can have an immediate impact on the sport in the short term, while also contributing to the elevation of competition as Padel’s influence continues to grow, potentially leading to an Olympic bid.

Laurent Wenker, Chief Commercial Officer of Dartfish, states, “Until now, coaches have identified key trends based on data and reports. By combining video analysis with easy-to-understand dashboards, this upcoming product will further enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Padel coaches. We are excited to expand this product to different sports in collaboration with Skylab.”

Ciaran Skinner, Business Development Manager at Skylab, emphasises the importance of context in making evidence-based decisions in sports. He expresses excitement about the partnership with Dartfish, where the combination of performance analysis expertise from Skylab and Dartfish’s trusted and robust video platform, already validated by the market, will deliver powerful results.

This partnership launch represents a significant milestone for Skylab EPA, who have recently made notable strides in the sport. Skylab revolutionises how elite sports teams and individuals interact with, utilise, and visualise their data. By bundling performance analysis with industry-leading user experience (UX) and bespoke software, partners will have the ability to make informed decisions in sports.

Ciaran Skinner adds, “Through sophisticated data visualisation, we empower athletes and coaches to better understand and communicate complex strategies, refine gameplay, and enhance decision-making skills.”
