Furniture Industry’s Clarion Call: “Visit Istanbul, Experience Istanbul”

The global furniture sector, concluding 2023 with an estimated $740 billion, is set for a significant gathering at the International Istanbul Furniture Fair, happening from 23rd to 28th January. This esteemed event is a traditional and prestigious meeting point in the sector, anticipating attendance from 200,000 global professionals.

The international furniture industry is poised to unite at the International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF2024), taking place from 23rd to 28th January. Orchestrated in partnership with TUYAP Fair Organisation Group and Mos Fair Organisation, and supported by the Furniture Associations Federation (MOSFED), the event is expected to draw 200,000 professionals from 200 countries. Over a thousand companies, showcasing 3,000 brands, will be featured at the TUYAP Fair and Congress Center and Istanbul Fair Center.

Esteemed as one of the most prestigious events in the furniture sector, the fair, themed “Visit Istanbul, Experience Istanbul,” is set to unveil the newest 2024 designs from a variety of product groups to its visitors.

“We continue to produce with over 45,000 manufacturers”

“In our ever-growing sector, we continually strive to offer the best products. As a result, we have positioned ourselves as one of the world’s foremost furniture manufacturers. We maintain production in all product categories with over 45,000 manufacturers. By creating strong, superior designs, we not only connect with our stakeholders through IIFF but also demonstrate our skills. We cordially invite the entire sector to our fair, where we will display the furniture trends of 2024,” stated Ahmet Güleç, President of MOSFED, the supporter of IIFF and the primary organisation of the Turkish furniture sector.

“We organise one of the world’s largest furniture fairs”

İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of Tuyap Fairs Organisation, emphasized the global significance of IIFF, saying:

“Organising an event across multiple venues in our industry is a globally unique venture. Nevertheless, Tuyap has successfully orchestrated the third edition of IIFF at both Tuyap Fair and Congress Center and Istanbul Fair Center, ensuring all preparations are in place. We’re hosting one of the globe’s most extensive furniture fairs. Our role in boosting both national and sectoral export figures is immensely significant. At IIFF2024, we’ll unite 200,000 business individuals from numerous countries with 3,000 brands through our international offices and extensive network. We invite everyone interested to join us at Istanbul’s premier sectoral event.”

Creating a Dynamic Environment for New Collaborations

Based on ResearchAndMarkets’ data, the global furniture sector, which closed 2023 with $739.44 billion, is projected to escalate to $935.9 billion by 2027. Türkiye, with an annual production of $12 billion, is set to welcome global partners. The fair will exhibit an array of furniture, including modern modular, luxury, beds and bases, baby and children’s, youth room, garden, office-school, and accessories.

Spanning six days, IIFF2024 will organize exhibition halls at the Istanbul Fair Center and Tuyap Fair and Congress Center by product group, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a vast range of products.
