Innovative Korean Agro-Food Products to Be Showcased at SIAL Paris 2024

The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation invites global attendees to explore 76 cutting-edge Korean food brands offering sustainable and health-conscious products at SIAL Paris 2024, the world’s largest food innovation event, celebrating its 60th edition.

The Korean Pavilion, hosted by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), will be a key feature of SIAL Paris 2024, which takes place from 19th to 23rd October at Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte. This year, 76 prominent Korean companies will showcase a variety of agro-food products aimed at international buyers looking for innovative, health-driven solutions.

Located across Hall 4 (Stand 4 L120) and Hall 7 (Stand 7 K259), the Korean Pavilion will display an exciting array of products, from traditional Korean foods to modern innovations. Visitors can explore fermented sauces, Kimchi, noodles, beverages, Ginseng, and a wide range of vegan and plant-based items—all in response to the growing global demand for eco-conscious foods.

The Growing Popularity of Korean Food in Europe

Korean cuisine is gaining momentum in Europe, known for its blend of health benefits and bold flavours. With major retailers like Carrefour and Monoprix now offering Korean products, SIAL Paris provides the perfect platform to experience this burgeoning trend. Visitors will have the chance to connect with producers, taste products, and forge key business partnerships.

Korean food’s growing appeal aligns with the increasing interest in veganism and sustainable eating across Europe. The adaptability of Korean cuisine has led to its inclusion on menus across the continent, showcasing much more than just Kimchi.

Celebrating the Diversity of Korean Cuisine

Ms. Nam Sanghui, Director at aT Center Paris, commented: “We are excited to reflect the true diversity of Korean products in SIAL Paris 2024. Our goal is to engage with those searching for innovative, health-conscious food options, and the Pavilion is the perfect place to discover the latest trends in Korean cuisine.”

As SIAL Paris celebrates its 60th year, the exhibition will bring together top innovators and experts in the food industry from around the world. With over 285,000 visitors expected from 200 countries, the event provides a major opportunity for Korean companies to showcase their products to a global market.
