CV Hubs & Bearings has announced a pair of improvements designed to reduce costs and simplify purchasing for commercial vehicle businesses throughout the UK. The company has removed upfront surcharges from all new wheel hub and hub kit purchases while introducing a rebate scheme that offers up to £50 in account credit for qualifying returned cores.
Customers purchasing replacement wheel hubs from CV Hubs will no longer need to pay a refundable surcharge at the point of sale. This removes an established industry practice that often increased administration and delayed the recovery of deposits. The updated approach gives workshops, fleets and motor factors a more straightforward ordering experience.
The new core rebate programme allows customers to return selected used wheel hubs from Volvo, Renault and DAF vehicles for inspection. Qualifying units can earn rebates of up to £50, credited directly to the customer’s account.
The returns process has been kept simple. Customers receive a return label, secure the used hub to a pallet and arrange collection through the CV Hubs team. Once the returned component passes inspection, the rebate is applied.
Inspection guides are available to help customers determine whether a hub is likely to qualify before arranging collection. Normal wear, corrosion and worn ABS rings are generally acceptable provided the casting remains intact and undamaged.
