Blackpool Resort Pass is back with a new look and even bigger thrills

The Blackpool Resort Pass is back for 2018 – giving visitors the chance to experience more than £20m of brand new attractions and make big savings at the same time!

The Blackpool Resort Pass enables users to enjoy the myriad of attractions in the UK’s favourite beach destination including Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Nickelodeon Land, The Blackpool Tower, Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE Blackpool, Sandcastle Waterpark and Blackpool Zoo, all at a heavily-discounted price.

The Blackpool Resort Pass and Pass Plus is a credit-card style format which allows users one visit to each of the attractions over a seven-day period giving massive savings on the standard door price.  Visitors can expect to save up to £47 on the Resort Pass Original and £69 on the Resort Pass Plus making the Blackpool Resort Pass the best ticket in town!

This year, there is a raft of exciting new attractions for pass-holders to try out including the thrilling £16m ICON rollercoaster, a new £5m elephant house facility and an interactive Marvel Comics super-heroes show.

To coincide with the launch of the 2018 Pass, it has been given a cool new look and a new booking facility has been developed on the VisitBlackpool website providing a simple-to-use system that allows users to create their own bespoke itineraries.

There are a number of ways that visitors can use the Blackpool Resort Pass to get the most out of their stay in Blackpool:

  • The Original Resort Pass – Gives visitors access to SIX attractions – Blackpool Pleasure Beach (including the new ICON rollercoaster); Nickelodeon Land; The Blackpool Tower Eye and 4D Experience; The Blackpool Tower Dungeon; SEA LIFE Blackpool and Madame Tussauds (including the new Marvel Comics attraction).

  • The Blackpool Resort Pass Plus – Offers access to NINE attractions – includes those in the Original Resort Pass plus Blackpool Zoo (with its fabulous new elephant house); Sandcastle Waterpark and Blackpool Model Village & Gardens.

There is also the option to purchase the Resort Pass and enhance your Blackpool experience by adding extra attractions via bolt-ons. This year’s bolt-ons include Blackpool Transport bus & tram tickets, discounted car parking, access to The Blackpool Tower Circus, The Blackpool Tower Ballroom & Afternoon Tea, Viva Showbar, Ascent Trampoline Park, the Hot Ice Show, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, Adrenaline Zone on South Pier and a fantastic discounted food offer at Coral Island.

The Original Resort Pass is priced at £57.50 per person while the Resort Pass Plus is £83 and passes are valid for seven days and give users one visit to each attraction.

Cllr Gillian Campbell, Deputy Leader of Blackpool Council said: “The Blackpool Resort Pass has been a soaraway success since it was first launched – simply because it offers visitors the opportunity to experience so much of what Blackpool has to offer and at affordable prices.

“The Resort Pass gives families several days’ worth of entertainment. This year it offers even more because pass-holders will be able to enjoy three brand-new attractions for the very first time.

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with the key visitor attractions in Blackpool to give our visitors the best possible experience.”
