Convene IT supports the region’s businesses

Convene IT, which has offices in Chorley and in the near future, in the Manchester area, provides cutting-edge IT support to over 170 organisations across the North West, including the Northern Automotive Alliance and Lyndhurst Precision Engineering.

Established more than a decade ago, the Chorley head quartered, full support IT company has 17 employees. They work with numerous sectors, including accountancy, education, automotive, engineering, recruitment, manufacturing and retail, providing their bespoke B2B consultancy, hardware configuration, disaster recovery, network services and server support services.

James Donlan, Managing Director, Convene IT, said: “We support organisations with our complete IT solution. Our skilled engineers provide expert advice for both urgent and scheduled maintenance, alongside setting up and advising on the best and most trusted computer equipment and software that a business should use.

“When a client phones us, an engineer always answers and we are immediately able to try and solve any problems, ensuring costly issues or downtime are kept to the absolute minimum.

“We also offer our clients yearly site surveys, alongside a completely transparent and cost-effective service, to enable us to communicate with any third-party suppliers on our clients’ behalf.

“Convene IT gives our clients the confidence to focus on their business, knowing that their IT needs are always under control.”

Mark Marriner, Managing Director, Lyndhurst Precision Engineering, added: “Since Convene IT took over our IT systems, improving both the hardware and software functionality, we have been able to work faster and more efficiently.

“As a result of these improvements, Convene IT has made us more secure and compliant. They have also introduced a better process for backing up our data and migrating our email systems. We are very impressed with their offering and service.”
