Louis Hamer joins Northern Industrial Marketing Team

Louis Hamer has been appointed by Northern Industrial as Marketing Executive to help enhance its marketing operations in the UK and Germany.

Established over 40 years with operations in the UK, Germany and Mexico, Northern Industrial exports industrial spare parts and repair services to manufacturing and engineering companies across the world.

The company’s central operation in Blackburn holds over £10million in stock covering over 200,000 parts numbers, sourced from over 1,350 manufacturers.

As well as providing new replacement parts from manufacturers including Control Techniques, Beijer, Allen Bradley, Danfoss and Pixsys, the company specialises in providing obsolete spare parts and repairs solutions primarily for industrial equipment and production lines no-longer supported by OEMs (original equipment manufacturers).

Louis’ role will include managing and developing SEO (search engine optimisation) for the company’s website and also developing email marketing campaigns aimed at UK customers. He will also be managing the same for Germany while also establishing social media campaigns for the newly established territory.

On starting in his new position, Louis said: “This is a really exciting time to be joining Northern Industrial as it develops new sites in Europe and the Americas to bolster its international export activity established over forty years.

“Recent years have seen year-on-year growth in demand for the company, which last year celebrated its sixth successive year of growth, with a 20% increase in sales compared to the previous year.

“Northern Industrial has been established and is continuing to grow by providing the spare parts and repair services companies worldwide need to avoid costly downtime. So as the global economy works though harsh times, it’s really satisfying to be helping customers stay up and running during stressful breakdown situations, or avoid breakdowns altogether by providing solutions for preventative maintenance.”
