Strategic Acquisition by Book Technologies Inc. – Bradford and Sheffield Taxi Groups Now Under New Ownership

Book Technologies Inc. has made a significant move in the transportation sector by acquiring both Bradford Taxi Group Limited and Sheffield Taxi Group Limited. This acquisition is seen as a strategic play to strengthen their market position. The founder of Book Technologies Inc., Cash Haleem, asserts that both companies will retain their identities as divisions within Taxi Group Ltd., despite the change in ownership.

Taxi Group Ltd., a notable regional provider of transportation services, was founded by Cash Haleem, who is also the CEO. The decision to bring Sheffield Taxi Group Limited and Bradford Taxi Group Limited under the umbrella of Book Technologies Inc. was finalised in October 2023. This move is aimed at bolstering the company’s growth on both national and international fronts with the support of Book Technologies Inc.

Expanding Internationally

Currently, Taxi Group Ltd. is engaged in discussions to extend its services to various international markets, including Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Africa, Singapore, and the Netherlands. The company plans to align its 2024 expansion plans with a comprehensive recruitment drive in Britain and other global regions.

Localised Operations

Both Sheffield Taxi Group Limited and Bradford Taxi Group Limited operate from their respective city headquarters. This localised approach ensures that services are specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of the residents and visitors of Sheffield and Bradford.

Technological Advancements on the Horizon

In a move set to revolutionize urban commuting, dedicated mobile applications and city-specific call lines for Sheffield and Bradford are scheduled to launch in 2024. These technological innovations aim to enhance convenience and accessibility for both residents and visitors.

Commitment to Diverse Recruitment

Sheffield Taxi Group Limited and Bradford Taxi Group Limited place a strong emphasis on inclusive recruitment practices, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds. This approach highlights Taxi Group’s commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Addressing Driver Challenges

In response to the UK’s cost of living crisis, Taxi Group Ltd. plans to implement the Living Wage scheme, transitioning away from the existing commission-based pay structure. This initiative aims to provide fair compensation to drivers, acknowledging their economic challenges.

New Opportunities for Drivers

Taxi Group is dedicated to creating additional income opportunities for drivers, with the aim of enhancing financial stability and growth prospects across Britain.

Vision for the Future

Cash Haleem, the founder, is committed to expanding services that will benefit both drivers and passengers. He envisions setting new standards in transportation, with a focus on meeting the evolving needs of drivers and passengers alike. Additionally, Taxi Group Ltd. is developing a strategic employment initiative to offer more employment rights within its organisation.
