Carplus has announced that Marshmallow has joined its panel of lenders, enhancing its ability to offer car finance solutions to people who have recently arrived in the UK.
Founded in 2017, Marshmallow built its reputation by transforming car insurance for newcomers, taking into account driving experience gained abroad. The company has since expanded into credit, applying the same inclusive, data-driven principles.
With this addition, Carplus can better serve customers whose UK credit files may not yet reflect their full financial profile, increasing their likelihood of securing finance.
Roman Danaev, Founder of Carplus said: “Marshmallow has already changed how insurance works for this group, and we’re proud to be working with them to do the same for car finance. Their mission is now ours too: making car finance accessible for people who have recently moved to the UK. This partnership marks another step in our journey to help more customers across the UK get on the road.”
The move aligns with Carplus’s broader strategy to extend financial access to a wider audience. As the UK continues to attract people for work, study and family reasons, both Carplus and Marshmallow are focused on ensuring fair treatment regardless of how long someone has lived in the country.
