Corporate teams encouraged to act fast to enter North West Air Ambulance Charity golf day

Businesses across the North West are being encouraged to secure their place at the North West Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA) Golf Day, with half of all team places already sold for this year’s event.
Taking place on September 24, at the renowned West Lancashire Golf Club, the annual charity golf day combines networking, team building and corporate social responsibility in support of NWAA’s lifesaving service.
The event is attracting strong interest from businesses across the region, with only 50% of four-ball team places remaining. Organisations looking to entertain clients, reward employees or strengthen business relationships are being urged to register early.
Teams will take part in an 18-hole competition featuring a series of on-course challenges, before enjoying a formal meal, prize presentation, raffle and charity auction.
In addition to team entry opportunities, businesses can increase their impact through hole sponsorships and broader event sponsorship packages, providing valuable brand visibility while supporting a vital regional charity.
One business already committed to returning is Thomas Hardie Commercials, having experienced first-hand the benefits of last year’s event.
Steve Wilson, Sales Director, at Thomas Hardie Commercials said: “Last year’s golf day was really enjoyable, with a bit of friendly rivalry, a few questionable swings, and some great networking along the way. It’s not every day you can mix business with 18 holes for such an important cause.
“It creates great opportunities to connect with other businesses, and the atmosphere on the day strikes just the right balance between friendly competition and networking. I’d definitely recommend getting involved.”
Funds raised through the event help NWAA continue providing advanced pre-hospital care across the North West, delivering specialist treatment to critically ill and injured patients.
Charlotte Carnell, Events Manager at NWAA, said: “Our golf day is a brilliant way to bring businesses together for a great day out while supporting an incredibly important cause. It’s all about great connections, a bit of friendly competition and helping us continue our lifesaving work across the North West.”
Four-ball team entries cost £1,195, with all proceeds supporting NWAA’s lifesaving missions across the region.
