Two Lancashire Firms Partner Up to Save Local Businesses Money

Preston based SwitchMy.com has partnered up with Lytham-based BPG Energy to help save local businesses money by providing the best possible energy deals.

SwitchMy.com is one of the UK’s first online energy comparison and switching websites solely aimed at helping small businesses. BPG Energy is a brand new independent energy supply company fronted by former Inenco director, Michael Abbott.

Whilst SwitchMy.com compares the business energy market as a whole, BPG Energy has pledged to beat the best deal for businesses in Preston and the Fylde. The partnership will allow SwitchMy.com and BPG to provide the most competitive energy deals for local, small businesses.

Anthony Mayall, managing director at SwitchMy.com, said: “It’s so easy to forget the businesses that are right on your doorstep. Since October last year we have saved our customers an average of £3,000 per year on their energy costs and the online switching process takes less than 10 minutes.

“Switching energy in small businesses in not that common place, and as it can save businesses a great deal of money – we wanted to bring this message, first and foremost, to our fellow local businesses.”

Michael Abbott, CEO at BPG Energy commented: “Businesses should not be frightened of switching suppliers – we manage the process to ensure that the transition for a business to switch energy supplier is as simple as it is at home.

“By partnering with SwitchMy we can confidently say that we can cater to small businesses and other non-commercial organisations alike to provide each individual customer with the best energy deal to suit their needs and help them to compete with larger national’s operating on their doorstep.”
