TotalCRB’s Company Growth Leads to Exciting Office Move

Disclosure and Barring Service providers, TotalCRB, one of Burscough, Lancashire’s, most up and coming companies has now moved from its Martland Mill office base where it has been situated since 2010 to a new floor of three offices in Bridge End Building on Orrell Lane, Burscough.

TotalCRB, is a registered body for the completion of criminal record checks across multiple sectors and the entirety of the UK. Working in association with the DBS and Disclosure Scotland, TotalCRB have been supplying Enhanced, Standard and Basic disclosures across paper and online systems for the past 8 years.

The relocation comes as a result of the company’s accelerated growth over the past couple of years, which has seen the workforce double, turnover expand and client base multiply.

The company began life with one member of staff working from a cupboard sized office space specifically on behalf of a single Lancashire care home. The business flourished when other residential homes approached the business to have their checks completed until, when these numbers increased significantly, it became necessary to establish TotalCRB as a standalone entity and move to its first specific purpose office in Martland Mill, Burscough.  TotalCRB as we know it today has now moved its expanding operation to a new, state-of-the-art office meaning the company can progress with its positive business plans for further growth and development.

Managing Director James Chapman explains: “Our managing ethos’ of honesty, dedication and excellence within the current business climate in addition to our new office suite will enable us to provide even higher levels of exceptional service for our customers giving us room for expansion and development of plans to further the company through additional revenue streams and services offered, it’s very exciting, watch this space!”

Marketing Manager Hannah Chapman comments: “We wanted the least disruption to our customers and our services as possible so with very careful planning over the preceding weeks, some excellent team work and fantastic support from Pescado for the migration of our hardware, network and telephone systems we managed to move our entire office with a down-time of just 2 hours. The team at Pescado were absolutely brilliant from beginning to end, we couldn’t have asked for more. We’re all super excited to be in our new office complex and have settled in really quickly. It will give us the space we need to expand as a company and to develop some really exciting new plans and projects.”

Director Allen Chapman states: “Quite simply, we’d outgrown our office at the mill and this move is the latest in the ongoing plans and development of the business.  We invested significantly in our customer focused online processing system in 2015 which improved the company significantly in terms of streamlining of our processes and the services we provide. The new offices will provide us all with the platform we need to build upon the company as a team successfully.”

The company now occupies nearly 500 sq ft of modern office space across three offices on the second floor of Bridge End Building, Burscough, Lancashire.
