Taylor Patterson are delighted to announce that their very own Gillian Bardin has been appointed as the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) – Lancashire and South Lakeland.
The prestigious role will involve supporting and assisting in the provision of services for Lancashire and South Lakeland’s 1,760 members. Services include an annual dinner, CPD courses and networking events, as well as representing the interests of Chartered Accountants to the wider business community.
Gillian was sworn into her new at the ICAEW Annual General Meeting at Preston’s Marriot Hotel. She said “as president, I hope to encourage local members in both practice and business to engage with us so that we can provide effective support and to ensure that the views of Chartered Accountants are promoted both locally and nationally.”
