Heysham based, Fuel Proof Ltd., is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of customised, high quality fuel storage equipment for diesel and aviation fuel. They have 65 employees and exports account for circa 15% of their sales. Their global client base spans every continent, including many of the world’s largest companies.
This week, they will start delivery of their biggest ever combined order. The order comprised three 85,000 litre fuel tanks (45-foot long and 12-foot wide); linking pipework and a containerised central pumping system. The customer is Birmingham Airport and the facility, once it has been installed, will significantly upgrade the Airport’s existing fuel storage operation, since the new system is designed to deliver better security, service life, ease of use, reliability and value for money.

It is by far, the largest single system we have ever been involved with.
