Napthens & NFU Mutual Preston offer new service

Napthens solicitors is working in partnership with leading insurance provider NFU Mutual to extend its current service offering to include health & safety risk management support.

The regional law firm is working with NFU Mutual Risk Management Services Ltd, to offer its clients specialist support designed as a fixed-cost, stress-free solution to the risk associated with employment law.

Services offered through the partnership, which is intended to further develop the law firm’s existing ‘HR3’ fixed cost retainer service, will include a health and safety support service, risk assessments, health and safety policy, consultancy and staff training.

Chris Boyle, head of Employment at Napthens, said: “We want to work with people and organisations who have a similar approach to business as we do. Both our core values are driven by our clients’ business needs, and by strong relationships.

“NFU Mutual has a long and successful track record of offering class-leading services, so it made sense to combine our resources and offer Napthens’ clients flexible and relevant services that will genuinely support their business.

“HR3 is intended to take much of the strain away from businesses ensuring that people issues are not holding the business back, and ensuring they are engaging the right staff in the right way. We believe that working with NFU Mutual Preston will continue this theme.”

Gary Clifton, partner (corporate clients) at NFU Mutual Preston, said: “We are very excited to be able to announce this partnership formally as it allows us to provide a holistic service for our current customers, and enables us to support even more clients.

“We have trialled our new HR and Health & Safety service with several of our mutual clients with fantastic success and feedback, so we’re pleased to now be able to roll the service out to businesses across the region.

“Our partnership will allow both companies to provide a complete view of health and safety and people matters, advising businesses how best to implement changes cohesively, sensibly and sensitively with commercial considerations.”
