Local company provides signage for The 146th Open at Royal Birkdale

Buckshaw based agency, Marvel at Everything, was recently tasked with one of its biggest signage projects to date – to use its creative expertise to manage the branding of the entire campaign for The 146th Open by Southport’s Tourism Board, following its ongoing work with client, Sefton Council.

Marvel’s mission was to create a vast range of banners and signs to be placed throughout Southport, directing tourists to and from Royal Birkdale for The Open, whilst also advising visitors on the wealth of excellent nearby dining, shopping and entertainment opportunities.

The team created an incredible 800 metres of promotional banners along Waterloo Road by Hillside Station! Using over 5000 cable ties, the advertising spans around half a mile up and down the road; the project is one of Marvel’s most impressive signage projects since the company began.

Wayne Taylor, Sales Director at Marvel at Everything, said “A massive thanks to our design team and fantastic signage experts for all of their hard work throughout this campaign. It’s a great achievement and I am incredibly proud. We can’t wait to get stuck into our next project!”
