Local accountants to make their first Wigan Business Expo appearance

Standish based McGinty Demack is delighted to be attending its first Wigan Business Expo on 6 October. Whilst the Chartered Certified Accountants have nearly 30 years’ experience in the industry, this will be the firm’s first ever appearance at an Expo.

McGinty Demack is a local accountancy practice founded by John McGinty and Geoff Demack in Chorley in around1989. The company then relocated to Wigan, before moving to a modern office suite in Standish in 2013. Vermont House is situated at the Bradley Hall industrial estate, a key business and industrial area in Standish since the late 1970s.

The accountancy experts will be based at stand E087 at the Expo, run by Wigan Council, in order to meet new businesses in the area and extend their already extensive network of business relationships.

Karen Richardson, MD, McGinty Demack said: “We’re really excited to be attending our first Expo. It’s a great opportunity to meet people and businesses in the area. We hope that local businesses will come and chat about how we can help their business grow.

“We have a customer focused approach to delivering accountancy services and our employees are fundamental to this service. Consequently, our revitalised training programme has seen new enthusiastic trainees joining the practice to support our existing long serving and very experienced staff. We pride ourselves on working in partnership with our customers for mutual benefit.”

Taking place at Robin Park Sports and Tennis Centre, from 9am to 2:30pm, the Wigan Business Expo17 will welcome over 120 businesses, showcasing their products and services, with the organisers anticipating over 1,000 visitors.
