FSB and Central Lancashire Business Club working together

The Central Lancashire Business Club (CLBC) is delighted to announce their first ever joint networking meeting with the Federation of Small Business. The Central Lancashire branch of the FSB will join Business Club members at their monthly meeting on Tuesday 21st November, 5.45pm at Leyland Golf Club.

David Baker of Perrite Business Solutions is a member of both groups and liaised with CLBC Chairman Stephen Ward, Managing Director of BusinessGiftUK.com, to get the special event off the ground.

“At the meeting, there will be an opportunity to listen to a speaker and for everyone who attends to introduce themselves to the room. Each group will also make a short presentation to explain the benefits of their organisation” said Stephen.

“We are delighted with this new initiative, since both groups are long established and well respected in the local business community.”

The guest speaker is Lateef Badat, a professional business and confidence coach, on the subject of the power of positive thinking. He will explain that running a business can be challenging, and the attention we give to Marketing, Sales and Finance should also be applied to ourselves to ensure optimum performance.

In this practical and interactive talk, Lateef of ALB Coaching will share powerful strategies and techniques to maintain a positive mindset and a “can-do” philosophy, that will help you to improve your success in and out of your business.

The CLBC was founded as the Chorley Business Club in 1984, subsequently merging with similar groups in South Ribble and Preston.
