Internal promotion marks growth for thriving local accountancy firm

Local accountancy and advisory firm, CLB Coopers, has announced an internal promotion to help satisfy growing demand for its specialist services.

CLB Coopers, which has an office in Lancaster city centre, has promoted Heather Andrew to the position of Senior Manager.

This promotion comes after the firm, which is part of the Baldwins Group, recently announced a number of key senior appointments and further promotions across its offices, to help it deliver its ambitious growth plans across the wider North West region.

Heather, who joined CLB Coopers in 2007 as a graduate trainee after completing her degree at Lancaster University, is a key member of its audit and assurance team and works with a varied client base, including entrepreneurial SMEs and owner-managed businesses, as well as pension schemes and charities, located across the region.

Speaking about her promotion, Heather said: “I am looking forward to the challenges of a more senior role within the team and supporting the ongoing success of CLB Coopers.”

Tony Whiteway, Senior Director at CLB Coopers who heads up the Lancaster office, commented, “Heather’s promotion is well-deserved and with her commercial experience and support of her fellow senior team members, she is set to continue to progress within the firm.

“Our culture is one that encourages staff to achieve their ambitions and we adopt a policy of promoting from within wherever possible, so being able to guide talented individuals, like Heather, through their careers is fundamental to the success of our business.”
