Three charities benefit from stunning photos of The Pennines

Positive Pennine, who are part of Pennine Wealth Solutions, recently launched their new website. During the planning and design stages, the team decided they didn’t want to use the same old stock images on their new site.

Positive Pennine, who are based in the foothills of The Pennines in Chorley, thought what better images to use on the new site than the beautiful scenery of The Pennines. With this in mind, they engaged with local amateur photographer, Richard Atkinson who took some fabulous photos from across The Pennines for them.

Richard travelled around The Pennines and took some stunning shots of the Yorkshire Dales, the Peak District, Todmorden and County Durham.

Jayne Raven, Marketing Manager at Pennine Wealth Solutions, said: “I am delighted with the photos we have had taken, and how they have captured the stunning views The Pennines have to offer.  I feel by using his photos, Richard has made our website come alive and portray a company proud of their roots.”

Jayne also commented that as well as providing the wonderful images for our new site, Richard requested that his fee for taking the photos, be donated to charity. Richard selected the following three charities, who each received a donation from us on Richard’s behalf.

  • British Heart Foundation
  • Marie Curie Cancer Care
  • St Rocco’s Hospice (Warrington)

Funding is vital for these charities to continue the excellent work they do, and we are very pleased to have supported them while creating our new site.

Positive Pennine is a trading name of Pennine Wealth Solutions who manage risk rated investment portfolios. These portfolios have been set up to allow investors, to invest in a way that makes a social or environmental difference.
