Local firm expands into four new export markets

Following a successful 2017, Whalley based Hurst Green Plastics is celebrating exporting its patented TwinBin and kitting solutions to four new countries. Uruguay, Qatar, Philippines and Lichtenstein have now joined the list of 58 countries that the company exports their innovative products to.

Established in 1979, Hurst Green Plastics offers a range of high quality, innovative stock control solutions, including the highly acclaimed TwinBin.

Winners of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the innovation category in 2012, the Ribble Valley firm boasts a client base that includes the likes of BAE Systems, Jaguar Land Rover and Samsung.

Tommy Sharples, MD, said: “We’re delighted to add Uruguay, Qatar, Philippines and Lichtenstein to our ever-growing list of export countries. The increasing demand for our products is testament to the high quality and innovative nature of the TwinBin and our range of kitting solutions.

“2017 was a fantastic year for Hurst Green Plastics and we’re on course to replicate our achievements in 2018. Our dedicated and skilled staff continue to be at the core of our success, as we continue to grow and offer more innovative storage solutions for businesses around the world.”
