Local bar partners with national award-winning catering company to deliver unique city centre experience

Preston city centre based Baluga Bar has partnered with the award-winning national catering firm, With a Twist’s sister company, North Kerb, to offer a unique street food inspired experience.

The popular bar and restaurant will offer a street food inspired menu from Friday 30 March 2018, offering dishes from around the world. The new, vibrant food menu has drawn inspiration from street food vendors around the world, including Brazil, Mexico and Thailand.

To complement the new tasting experience, the Fishergate located bar is undergoing a redesign, creating a relaxed atmosphere, with additional seating.

Baluga’s cocktail menu will also be given a shake-up, or stir if you prefer, offering new flavoursome cocktails every month to complement the global dishes.

North Kerb is the street food centric arm of national award-winning Darwen based, With a Twist. The catering specialist’s creative flair for food with a luxury vibe will see North Kerb launch a takeaway next to Baluga, as well as supplying its unique street food to the venue.

Chloe Brookes, Manager, Baluga, said: “We’re excited to be offering this amazing new experience to Preston. North Kerb’s unique street food, combined with the new look of Baluga, will give visitors an experience unique to any other in the city.”

Rebecca Webber, North Kurb, said: “We’re pleased to be partnering with Baluga, since our creative and varied street food will complement the relaxed atmosphere of the bar. The takeaway, situated next to Baluga, will be open from Friday 30 March, 8am, offering exciting street-food throughout the day and into the early hours.”
