RSM announces new regional audit managing partner in the North West

RSM UK has announced the appointment of Jonathan Lowe as the regional audit managing partner (RAMP) for its North West region.

Jon, who joined the firm as a graduate trainee in 2004, is an audit and assurance partner with significant experience working with owner managed businesses, private equity backed organisations and AIM listed companies. He also specialises in a range of sectors, including TMT (technology, media and telecoms), distribution and leisure and hospitality.

Jon succeeds Alex Tait as RAMP for the North West following his appointment as regional managing partner for RSM’s Scotland and Northern Ireland region.

Jonathan Ericson, national head of audit at RSM, said: ‘I am delighted to appoint Jon as our new regional audit managing partner in the North West. Since returning to the North West in 2013, Jon has helped to shape our regional audit practice and his promotion is testimony to his talent and leadership qualities; and our ongoing commitment to training and development.’

Jonathan Lowe, regional audit managing partner for RSM’s North West region, said: “I’m delighted to take on this important role. In an ever-changing assurance landscape, we are able to deliver a breadth of services and sector capabilities to not only ensure mid-market businesses are performing effectively and compliant with legislation, but also help management teams and shareholders mitigate any potential risks.

“Our strong local presence, with audit experts based in offices across Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Chester and Stoke-on-Trent, means we are well placed to deliver high quality audits for North West businesses. I look forward to working with the 150-strong regional audit team, to strengthening our position as the go-to firm in the North West.”
